Task number 2:

For out second 3D task we had to create something that would be able to support three plastic balls on it using only hot glue and spaghetti. To do this we had to consider the shape, strength and angles of the sculpture to ensure that it would not only be functional and hold up the balls but be aesthetically attractive

We did several sketches to evoke ideas on what we could make and how it could work correctly

After completing this task we had to use paper to protect our sculptures from a downward force to test its strength. I experimented with different ways of using the paper such as covering the entire thing with paper, making 'pillars' with the paper to add strength and wrapping the paper around individual parts of the spaghetti to strengthen each part.
