Camden Arts Centre - Making and Unmaking
I visited the 'Making and Unmaking' exhibition to gather ideas about graphics and design. This exhibition was the work of fashion designer Duro Olowu which consisted of sculpture, video, photography and drawing.
Waterloo Station graphics
When going to waterloo station, I looked for all of the graphics of various companies that I found to be interesting. These included food, clothing, stationary and travel.
Deigning Logos & Typography
We began to create our own small designs for logos of a selected subject. Our subject was celebrities, so after considering different issues surrounding this subject, we decided to base it on famous people setting a negative example for younger people. From this, we came up with the slogan 'Tame your Fame' which we found effective as it is short, rhyming and therefore memorable.
